Having graduated from UCLA with a B.A. in Theater, I’ve always loved storytelling. After many years working in more traditional entertainment production and support jobs, I’m now a freelance video producer/creator/host/editor, and I figured I’d figuratively and literally turn the lens on myself and begin creating my own content. In chronological order starting with most recent, below you can check out my different short film projects. 🎬
LiminaL
I’m currently working on this dark and weird sci-fi (my fave genre!) short film that I wrote and am also directing, shooting, playing both roles in, and editing.
Bee Longing
My comedic micro-short film that I wrote, directed, edited, and performed in was a semi-finalist, finalist, and won the Audience Favorite Award at ESMoA’s 2023 Video Art + Film Festival: BELONGING!
Horror Micro-Short
I created this weird horror micro-short as an entry into a horror contest. I didn’t win, but I sure made a big salad after!
#BeBliss
My comedic micro-short film that I wrote, directed, edited, and performed in was a finalist, semi-finalist, and placed 3rd for the Audience Award in ESMoA’s 2022 Video Art + Film Festival: BLISS, and I was interviewed about it here and here.
BLUE/SPECTRUM
My experimental micro-short film that I wrote, directed, edited, and performed in was a finalist and semi-finalist in ESMoA’s 2021 Video Art + Film Festival: BLUE/S, and I was also interviewed about it.
Banshee-20
To stay creative during the pandemic, I wrote, shot, performed in, and edited this comedic micro-short film as a ridiculously silly homage to B-Movie horror films. 🧟♀️ FlickFair chose it as an August 2020 Official Selection for their on-demand film festival.
Sunk
My short film Sunk that I wrote, directed, produced, acted in, edited, and did sound design for was chosen as an Official Selection at the 2018 Marina del Rey Film Festival, and also won Best Short Thriller.
It was also an Official Selection at the 2018 Zed Film Fest Festival and Screenplay Competition as well as at the 2019 Golden State Film Festival, and for the GSFF it screened at the TCL Chinese Theaters in Hollywood.
